Itinerary and highlights
At 9 a.m., your guide will pick you up from your hotel downtown Buenos Aires and you will head to Tigre.
We will begin the excursion around 9:00 a.m., departing from your hotel in the center of Buenos Aires and heading towards this natural setting through the northern suburbs, offering a glimpse into life on the outskirts of the capital, where approximately 35% of the national population resides.
Along the way, we will pass by the Ciudad Universitaria and the iconic River Plate Stadium in the capital, as well as the Quinta de Olivos, the official residence of the President of Argentina. In San Isidro, we will make a stop to explore its historic buildings and the local church.
Once we arrive in Tigre, our first stop is the Puerto de Frutos, a vibrant market where locals shop for home goods and where you can find authentic souvenirs.
At lunchtime, we will head to a prime restaurant located by the Luján River, offering a unique culinary experience with panoramic views of the river.
Afterward, we will stroll along Paseo Victorica, enjoying the elegant gardens surrounding the Tigre City Council and the Tigre Art Museum.
Finally, we will embark on a tour of the peaceful waters of the delta, observing the contrast between the suburban landscape and the skyscrapers of Buenos Aires, with the aerial parade of the Metropolitan Airport accompanying our journey.
