About this experience

Is a midday excursion in a 4x4 vehicle along the shores of Lake Argentino. Ideal for the day of arrival or departure, it has an anthropological approach, making a journey through time on the passage of man in these lands, rediscovering stories of the first expeditions and daring who ventured into the unknown.

Among the cliffs and overlooking the Andes Mountains, the excursion focuses on the first contacts of those expeditions with the natives, and then enter the Tehuelche world. On the shores of the lake are the caves where thousands of years ago that culture left its marks on the rock and that today introduce us to its interpretation.

You can take many pictures with spectacular views, and enjoy a traditional Patagonian lunch/dinner!!!!

Itinerary and highlights

We will make a tour in 4x4 vehicles, where we will cross the entire coast of Lake Argentino in the direction of the natural caves located in 'Punta Walichu'.

We will go to the same places where the natives
where the natives left their mark and we will visit an area with cave paintings, where we will be given an explanation of the meaning that the natives gave to them, besides showing representations of dwellings, methods of life and displacement, among other things

Meeting and pickup information
